Half Marathon

Half Marathon

The Williams Route 66 Half Marathon showcases the best of what Tulsa has to offer! Start your race in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma home of the largest concentration of Art Deco architecture outside of Miami, and then make your way through Tulsa’s vibrant and diverse neighborhoods. If there’s one thing you can count on at the Williams Route 66 Half Marathon, it’s tons of on-course support from the local community and plenty of fun. Our neighborhoods host block parties all along the course to welcome and cheer on the runners, and you might just find an unofficial “aid station” or two! Half marathoners hoping to join a friend who is participating in the full marathon are in luck – the courses run together until around mile 11, where half marathoners head to the finish at Guthrie Green and enjoy the post-race party while the marathoners continue on!

2023 Medal MockUps-Half

The Williams Route 66 Marathon is famous for its award-winning finisher medals, and we know you’ll love the bling for 2023. This year’s finisher medal is styled after the iconic Route 66 Historical Village sign located in Southwest Tulsa on Route 66, marking the third in our series of Route 66 icons. The Route 66 Historical Village is a transportation theme park that seeks to educate visitors about Tulsa’s history in the transportation, oil, and refining industries. It features the tallest oil derrick in North America, vintage rail cars, historic pump jacks, a trolley, a fully restored caboose, and more, making it the perfect stop for visitors to the Tulsa area.

As we celebrate 17 years of Rocking the Route in Tulsa, we’re making our way toward our 20th anniversary! Make sure you register now to secure your spot at the start line and your right to earn the third in our Route 66 icons medal series.
