Ambassadors

Love rocking the Route? We’ve got the perfect gig for you! The Williams Route 66 Marathon is about to launch our 2023 Ambassador program, and we need your help. We want to spread the word about how much fun Tulsa’s biggest block party is, and we need your help to reach people of all backgrounds, abilities, and locations who love running and walking. If your idea of a great time is running or walking a 5K, 26.2 or 13.1 miles through the streets of Tulsa, we want to hear from you!

Submit your application to become a brand ambassador for the 2023 Route 66 Marathon beginning Monday, May 15. In exchange for sharing how much you love Route 66, you’ll receive some pretty sweet perks: free race entry, ambassador gear, a race weekend VIP package, and more!

CRITERIA:

• Be happy and fun!
• Must live in OK, TX, AR, LA, MS, MO, NM, CO
• Wear Route 66 Marathon gear at a running event (club runs, socials, other races, etc.) or online at least 2X/month
• Must be registered for the 5K, Marathon, Half Marathon, or Marathon Relay by July 1st.
• Engage with/about the race on social media on a weekly basis from June 1, 2023 through November 30 (tagging Route 66 in posts, sharing promos, etc).
• Commit to interacting monthly in identified FB groups
• Share contests, promotions, and announcements to influence and encourage others to participate in Route 66 Marathon events (not more than twice per week).
• Adhere to social media guidelines/rules and including marathon hashtags: #rt66run, #rt66, #ad
• Must familiarize yourself with the marathon website and social platforms to help answer questions if asked of your audience (of course the Route 66 Marathon director team is here to help).
• Willing to travel to Tulsa on your own expense for race weekend (lodging, travel & meals).
• Be present at the Health and Fitness expo at the designated time for an official Route 66 Marathon ambassador panel.
• Represent at local events and expos throughout the year (within reason)
