Official COVID-19 Update From the Williams Route 66 Marathon

A message from our Executive Director, Destiny Green
We are all facing uncertainty and challenge as the ongoing COVID-19 situation evolves. You, the runners and volunteers, are why we do what we do here in Tulsa every year. Now, more than ever, our running communities need to pull together to help each other, and to help keep each other safe.
The Williams Route 66 Marathon is scheduled for November 21-22, 2020 in Tulsa. We continue to monitor the situation, but have no plans at this time to change the scheduled race or race activities.  That said, we always take the health and wellbeing of our volunteers, runners, and team members seriously; this year will be no different. Should the situation as we move through the next few months require changes, we will communicate them promptly and thoroughly, and we look forward to seeing you in November here in Tulsa.
In the meantime, please follow the guidance from the CDC:
  • Practice frequent and thorough hand washing
  • Practice social distancing, including staying home if you’re exhibiting any flu-like symptoms
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
Stay safe and healthy!
Destiny Green
