The 2008 Route 66 Marathon

Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)

The Route 66 Half Marathon follows the same course as the Full Marathon however participants turn around just North of I-44 on Riverside Drive and follow the remaining part of the Full Marathon course to the finish line at Veteran's Park.

All half marathon participants will receive a goody bag and Official Route 66 Marathon Shirt. All finishers will receive a Finisher's Medal.

The Half and Quarter Marathon start at 9:00 a.m.
Half Marathon participants must be at least 12 years old.

Half Marathon Registration Information


All participants must register online or at The Route 66 Marathon Health and Fitness Expo to be held Friday November 14th and Saturday November 15th, 2008. There is no mail-in or offline registration for The Route 66 Marathon.


Half Marathon Awards and Recognition
For the half marathon, awards are given to the top 3 finishers in each of the following categories based on gun time. Please note that Clydesdale and Filly awards are age graded.

Open Male, Open Female, Masters Male, Masters Female
Age Group Awards (Male and Female): 12-19, 20-24,25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,45-49,50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Clydesdale Awards: 170-184, 185-199, 200-214, 215-229, 230+
Filly Awards: 145+
Open Wheelchair Male, Open Wheelchair Female


Pace Groups
Fleet Feet Sports Tulsa and New Balance are pleased to provide Pace Teams and coaches for the half marathon. Pace groups will be provided for the following marathon target finish times:
1:30, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30
