Help support the Williams Route 66 Marathon events

Free posters, t-shirts available for local businesses

Training and completing a race of any distance is a great accomplishment and the support participants need to make it to the finish line is just as important the days leading up to the race as it is on the big day.

Help us keep participants excited as they continue their training and welcome the thousands of visitors who will be in town for the Williams Route 66 Marathon Friday, Nov. 18 through Sunday, Nov. 20 by donning welcome shirts and putting posters up at your place of business. Table tents are also available for use at local restaurants.

Your business’s support of these events will show the approximately 12,000 people participating during the two days of racing that you’re cheering them on as they work toward a healthy goal. Additionally, it shows your support of an event that will provide a combined economic impact of about $7 million to the city.

Businesses invited to join the Williams Route 66 Marathon Welcome Team include hotels, restaurants, bars, retailers and other establishments visitors and participants are likely to frequent during and leading up to race days.

In exchange for your support, we’ll provide:

  • Free welcome shirts for frontline employees during marathon race weekend Nov. 18-20, 2011.
  • Free posters.
  • Free table tents.
  • Free participant and spectator guides for your employees and customers.
  • Free listing on our website and in the participant guide.
  • In return we ask that you display the posters and/or table tents at your establishment beginning Friday, Oct. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 20.
